The ladies of the Linda community regularly meet up for their Support or Loans & Savings Groups.
When we have visited the groups over the years we enjoy seeing the creations produced (whilst sitting in the meeting circles) from the local chitenge materials and more recently woollen items, such as babies hats, clothes and doorway mats. This activity provides a small income which the ladies use for everyday living and education fees. At the hospice we have also witnessed a knitting machine in use, where school jumpers are made.
As our supporters know, we make regular visits throughout the year and are very willing to pack an extra suitcase with kindly donated bras and wool.
So please contact us here if you have any un-used wool that needs a good home. And know that it will be gratefully put to good use.
