2020 Secondary School Extension Complete
Year 2020 saw a dream realised for Linda Community School headmistress Doreen Nzila with the completion of a four-classroom extension block to accommodate an additional 200 secondary school children.

Every week we try to find some motivation for Monday morning but primary school teacher Monsonga Thomson is easily motivated by his passion for literacy and learning which he shares with the children at Linda School.
A thank you from Bernard
Bernard Tembo is a patient of the Mother of Mercy Hospice that David met on his recent visit. Bernard has HIV and Tuberculosis and has been coming to the hospice to receive the drugs he needs to prolong his life and make it as comfortable as possible. Women’s Soccer Team
As well as running Light of Hope Health Care, John Shawa also looks after the Light of Hope Football Association. There are two soccer teams – one for the boys and one for the girls – and both play in a local league with growing success.
Village Banking
In this video we talk to Agness from Fiwamina Abanthu Group at a Group Savings and loans meeting. Agness talks about the role of Mainess and how she supports and encourages the Women’s Groups to grow. This type of organisation helps women like Agness to have power and control over their lives.

Sister Jeremia shares a message with VisionZambia on the importance of the Mother and Mercy Hospice. Without this hospice and its outreach programme many more people in this part of the world would die from curable diseases.
Water
Water is a fundamental human right that millions of people in the world live without. VisionZambia are working with communities in Linda, Zambia to bring water to people who currently live without. Help us to help them!
Music
Linda Community School provides for children who cannot attend local government schools for economic or social reasons. It has a higher than average population of vulnerable students including a significant number of double orphans.
